Posted by Brandon on Saturday, May 17th, 2008

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately. God is trying to teach me something… something about myself and something about other people. From what I’m getting so far is looks like it is all coming back to one thing… Value. I’m seeing it everywhere and in all kinds of people… people I know and [...]

God Still loves us even without a lint roller

I had one of those moments a few weeks back. You know… one of those moments that God decides he is going to teach you something and you are going to realize how little you really know or how little you remember. Yeah, it was one of those moments. My fiance’ has this cat, that [...]

Pastors: Get a Free Book!

Posted by Brandon on Wednesday, October 25th, 2006

I just ran across this promotion twice today. Get Craig Groeschel’s book "Confessions of a Pastor" for free from Mpbooks.com I heard about this through a magazine first but then saw it again on www.churchvideoideas.com (which by the way is a great church "techie" blog). One last note, they are only giving the book away to the first 1,000 requests, so make your request quick.

[...] LifeChurch.tv Network + A Free Book I saw it first at Churchonomics, but I’m sure word will spread fast about this. LifeChurch.tv has announced that it wants to partner with local churches and it’s called LifeChurch.tv Network. Your church can continue as it is today, except you use the video message instead of your own and you get all of the supplemental material. This could serve as a way to breathe new life into your church, plus it will allow you to become part of the larger vision of LifeChurch.tv, leading all people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. This concept could be good for a church plant or even a house church. Check out Brad’s post for more details. LifeChurch.tv has gotten my attention lately, it’s worth checking out their site and seeing what all that they are doing for the Kingdom. Also, don’t miss LifeChurch.tv Open, where they offer most, if not all of their sermon series videos for your church to use for free. [...]
